| Fishing on Wabaskang |
Wabaskang is a large lake with five different quadrants to explore. Many weed beds, and relatively shallow water (average is 20 ft. deep), make for fun fishing all season long. Wabaskang is home to a large population of Jumbo Perch - the best time is May and June. Enjoy Walleye fishing - most commonly ranging in size from 220500 mm. Liven up your experience watching Smallmouth Bass leap onto your line (avg. 36 lbs). Plentiful Northern Pike fishing peaks in August and early September. |
